As Commissioner Ted Will:

 I have spoken with many people, gone to tea parties, and listened to many speeches in the area.  The overall opinion is that Cecil County and the nation as a whole are headed in the wrong direction. Some people are on the verge of “giving up” believing that their opinions will never be heard.  They realize that their struggles will continue, prices will rise, jobs will get harder to find, and bill will get harder to pay. People are exhausted.

   I believe that there is a great window of opportunity at hand, and it must be acted upon swiftly. More and more people are waking up to the fact that something is wrong with how we are governed. Many people, including myself are joining together because we love Cecil County, it is our home and it is worth fighting for. We must act before the burden placed on all of us is too great and before many of the motivated people in Cecil County do eventually “give up.”

   As Cecil County Commissioner I will stop reckless spending and stop senseless regulations. We must encourage job growth in Cecil County by ending needless taxes that force businesses to leave. By implementing policies like these we can lower taxes and increase the overall wealth of the community. It will not be without sacrifice. We must come to the realization that life cannot go on this way and at the very least we ought to set an example for other communities to follow.
