As Commissioner Ted Will:

We need to encourage job growth by lowering taxes, rather than force them away through regulations and taxation. It's a simple theory. If you have five companies and you raise their taxes and one of them leaves or goes out of business, the government will actually make less money. If you have those same five companies and you lower their taxes you will increase the chances that they will succeed and grow and even attract more companies to set up shop here in Cecil County. In turn by lowering taxes you increase the amount of money Cecil County will make from taxes. Using this theory Ted Kolodzey will work to attract more businesses, and encourage job growth. It is important to remember that we are a farming community and we should not move to over develop our beautiful landscape. We must focus our attention on increasing job growth in the Rt40/I95 split and insure that farmers can keep their lands.
